If you want a realistic fake beard that might actually fool anyone... give up now. It's not possible for an amateur to pull off a convincing fake. A pro could do it, but it would cost $$$. If you are doing this for stage work... stop shaving now. It would be far easier to grow one than to make one. For fun, buy one at a Halloween shop. If you insist on trying, a quality theatrical costume shop will have all the materials you need and a book to teach you how.
