Holy Moly you weren't kidding? My bad. Death On February 8, 2007, Smith was found unresponsive in a room of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. She was rushed to a hospital. A witness told local media that paramedics were performing CPR when they took her out of the hotel. She was later pronounced dead by doctors. Her passing was a little less than 5 months after her son had died. She was 39. (wikipedia)

She's still alive... and kickin. Her son died from a mixture of sleeping pills and antidepressants [lexapro, i believe] which were both by prescription.

they are not sure how she died the autopsy didn't show anything but there waiting for more time. they think either natural causes or drug over dose

The autopsy is not until Friday - so we won't know for a few days at least. If your question is, "How do you think a.n. died?", then I would guess drug over dose. My guess is she was mixing some differnt things, probably some legal and maybe some illegal. Or perhaps plastic/cosmetic surgery gone bad. I do think it is interesting that she was found by a private nurse in her hotel room. Why did she have a nurse in a hotel?

Friday's autopsy was preliminary only, looking for visible signs of cause of death. There were no knife or bullet wounds, and no pills in her stomach. So cause of death is still unknown at this time. Now it will be 3-5 weeks for a full detailed autopsy to be completed, where they examine organs and tissues for any absorbed substances.

They don't really know the cause, they just rules out if it was from a injury or asphyxiation(sp?) Now the pathologist has to look at tissue samples under the microscope to disregard any type of bacterial infection, or virus that might have killed her plus the toxicology blood work had to be tested also.

As the autopsy report is not out yet all we can do is speculate. I think it was either an overdose or she grieved herself to death. Either way she lived a hard life and even now after her death things are proving to be hard for her family. I feel so bad for her daughter.

I have followed this closely. I believe she was totally heartbroken over her son's death. However she loved her baby, so if it was an overdose it was not intentional in my opinion. What's bothering me is, Daniel died with Methadone in his system, and the other night Court TV showed her fridge in the Bahamas and there was a huge bottle of Methadone. Every medication they found was prescribed to Howard K Stern. I just think she would never overdose due to her little baby girl. I believe Howard is the person they should focus on.

It was a heck of an accident if it was. She was found with Methadone, Chloral Hydrate, Trichloralethanol, Trichloralacetic acid, Diphenhydramine, Clonazepam, Diazepam, Nordiazepam, Temazepam, Oxazepam, Lorazepam, Atropine, Topiramate, Ciprofloxacin, and Acetaminophen in her system after the autopsy toxicology reports came back. I don't know you could accidentally injest that many different drugs. It sounds suspicious unless she was just one serious drug addict.
