  • If you wish to make archival copies of your DVDs the best software I've found is DVD Shrink 3.2. It is orphan-ware (in that lawsuits forced the writers to abandon it) and there are "plug-ins" available to allow it to remove all copy protection from even the newest DVDs. You also have the option of shrinking a dual layer DVD to a single layer or re-authoring the disc so as to just contain the movie only. Hope this helps.
  • Insert the DVD in the CD\DVD drive. 2. Open computer, click on DVD drive, and Select the files you want to copy. To select all files, press Ctrl and A keys together, to select files randomly press Ctrl and left mouse click on the file.
  • Back up DVD content to the laptop using Leawo DVD Ripper: https://bit.ly/3pneYmU
  • Some DVDs are copy protected so they can’t be saved on the laptop. DVDs can only be watched on a laptop once in the SuperDrive when connected to the laptop. If you don’t see a copy protected symbol on the back of the DVD cover then it can be saved on your laptop.
