The Knights Templar where a group of Knights who escorted Pilgrims to the Holy Land. They where fearsome Warriors and European Lords where happy to use their servies.

As a member gains the trust of the group to which they belong, they advance upward in knowledge, trust and responsibility. The Founding Fathers of the United States all belonged to different Esoteric groups.George Washington was a Freemason of the Kent rites. This is reflected on the One Dollar Bill with the pyramid and the all seeing eye on Back and the owl on the front.
