No way! But if the date is actually a "Buy by" date, that might be different depending on how the meat looks or smells and what type of meat it is.

Assuming I bought it from another store (as opposed to me cutting it myself at work), it would depend on if it had been frozen up to the end. Has it been in the fridge the entire time? toss it. Has it been frozen until now, or thawed within the last 24 hours? cook it, if it still smells good.

If it was frozen, yes. If it was in the fridge, Id really have to smell it and look it over first. If it smelled alright and didn't look brown Id probably use it.

No I wouldn't ... I never take a chance. I'd rather just toss it out. I've had food poisoning before and it's horrible!!!

if it was beef and it was refrigerated then yes but not chicken or seafood
