It comes down to pain and hope. A thief tries to rob a bank with a gun. He is caught and taken to trial. In his defence, he pleads, "But the gun was a fake!" You are like that thief. Someone wants to die because they can see no other way to avoid the pain. You are saying, "But there is still options! There is still hope!" But the suicidal person cannot see any options or any hope, and so your words do not carry any meaning to them, just as the thief in the above example is sent to jail for armed hold-up, because the pain and the fear were real, and the way out was very well hidden.

Don't know why you were DRed. Valid question. Simply: some people feel like there is no hope and no escape. Also they don't feel that they have support to get through difficult times or they feel like a burden. Very sad. I prefer to assist rather than judge.

Sometimes it feels like everyone else got more than their fair share of the good shit. Whereas, the rest of us, keep getting dealt from the bottom of the deck. It's easy to cast judgment from on high.
