  • It's generally recommended not to work out the same muscle groups two days in a row. If you allow more time to heal, you will progress well. Eat protien in the three hours after a workout, and do some stretches and keep moving in some manner without resistance. Even just the motion of swinging your arms a bit while you walk is better than sitting still watching tv after a workout, it helps your muscles not to stiffen up too much.
  • Ok thanks, I'm going to try that out. I just need to buy some protein. I was wondering why it was so hard to do like 10 pushups now when I was doing 30 the first day. I guess I will try doing different muscles every day.
