I think it depends on what the child watches and how often parents have real, honest conversations with their children. If the child gets all their exposure to the world via television, I think it will cause them to have a skewed perception of the world. If parents temper that exposure with conversation about what they experience and discussions about what is seen on television, the child will grow to have a more realistic idea of the world.

tv can rot your brain or make you want to learn more, it justs depends on what you watch.
