Are you good at putting jigsaw puzzles back together? Do start with the outside edge first?

• Yes. I always start with the edges because that way you have a framework to give you an idea where the rest of the pieces go. My Grandma and I used to race to see how long it would take us to put puzzles together. We would write down how many hours and minutes we worked on them inside the box. I think we were pretty fast.

• OH !!! I love jig saw puzzles...I always start with the corners and edges, my personal favorite is the Oreo Cookie ...that took forever !!!

• Good ol' jigsaw puzzles! I haven't put one together for about a year now, so I'm definitely due to! I'd love to pick up a few jigsaw puzzles of paintings by famous painters --- especially by any in the Group of Seven. (I'm an 'edges 1st' kind of gal myself, too! lol!) +4

• Well, we're back from Newfoundland & I did pick up a puzzle there. The colours of the row houses in St. John's are so vibrant! This puzzle has many of these colourful houses in it, though they're not row houses.
   
  Though I did initially start putting it together the outside edges, I couldn't resist finding the other sides of a few of those houses first! :)

• Hmmmmm. A nice drive around the Isle of Orleans, some time at Montmorency Falls and a walk through the old city from the lower section to the Plains of Abraham and the fort. It's all gorgeous. You'd love it there.

• Ditto, I just had a look at your bio --- thank-you for posting that quote about a friend seeing his friend in pain, wishing to take it on. I wrote that down. (That's about how I'd felt earlier this summer, with my friend.)
   
  Then, as I'd read on, I came upon your last quote, the "When things go wrong as they sometimes will..." quote. I had that one up on my bedroom wall as a teen for years; it & my faith got me through some tricky times, more or less 'intact.' (Its amazing the memories reading that has just brought back to me. I started to cry as I read that --- sorry if I'm being a bit too 'emotive,' here...)

• also once complete carefully cont the peices into a bag, seal and label (date and no. bits), helps if you want to swap, sell, give to charity shops etc.....
