I'd eat a human right now, if someone cooked it up nicely. Remember, I am a gourmet, so you'll have to cook it to my standards.
-
Nope
-
omg! no i just couldnt i seen a film once about a plane crash and they ate the people when they died. i couldnt do it i would rather starve
-
If I am THAT desparate, I would rather eat myself. Piece by piece. That way I will not have to face the law.
-
Eh, I don't know. I have a thing about red meat... but if someone prepared it for and I was really hungry, sure. Just so long as it was no-one I know, and what I'm eating isn't colon or scrotum or anything.
-
I cant say what I would do because of the simple fact Ive never been placed in a situation like that. I think if it meant life or death for me and the other person was freshly dead I might be able to do it.
-
If I was starving and there was no chance that I would live unless I ate a human, and the human was already dead, then yes, I'd eat it. Liver first, with a nice Chianti.
-
Humans will do a lot of things to survive. If I could keep it down, I might eat human flesh if I thought it would keep me alive. I wouldn't kill to do it, but I might be able to handle a dead person. Maybe. You have my permission to eat me if I die, but you can't serve me with mushrooms. Yuck..
-
Absolutely, if they were already dead. Why not?
-
i believe the instinct to survive would allow me to, but.....
-
Who needs to be desperate? Sure!
-
Yes, i would. As long as he or she was dead and cooked. I dont think id murder someone to eat them, unless that someone was someone who i really didnt like, in which case i wouldn't eat them. That would be sick.
-
Yes if it was a matter of life and death i think i would and a thumb would be the first part because i think it resembles a chicken drumstick ;) mmmmm chicken
-
DAmn Straight...I'll try anything once, and if I like it, I''ll make a habit out of it...
-
In a heartbeat. With fava beans and a nice chianti.
-
No.
-
No figgin way - i would die first. if someone tried to eat me i would run away and i wouldn't look back!
-
Nope, Because being desperate does not risk my survival rate, so id just got to the supermarket :P now if you asked if i was stranded and my only means or surviving was to east the dead person next to me. that depends on the situation, if it was my wife/g.f or someone i knew very well, no id rather die then go home and tell his/her family i had to eat their son/daughter to ensure my survival.
-
Ummm...No. I don't want to become cannibal. That is just gross.
-
Nah I'll stick to Mac and Cheese
-
i ate my brother. he was mostly tender, didn't marinate him long enough.
-
Never. Some things were just not meant to be done. People can bend their morals however they want, but the moral is still bent in the end isn't it?
-
If i had a stove, grill or something similar ans some seasoning...why not... it would probably taste like chicken, i mean everything else taste like chicken.
-
If it was an end of the world situation and your life depended on it I probably would, you have to survive somehow.
-
I had a hard enough time getting a m outhful of dog down. I don't think, even if I were starving, that I could get past the cultural mores. But people do strange things in times of stress. I was in an elevator at the British Embassy in sydney once when two dapper diplomats began to discuss their latest journeys. One had been to South Africa, where he had met an ex-cannibal. "Really?" asked the other. "WHy ex?" The answer:" Because now he can go to the supermarket and buy chicken. Apparently humans taste like chicken." It was a bizarre conversation, let me tell you. LOLOL
-
I would. Especially if they were dead and would not mind being eaten as much as, say, a living person.
-
Only woman ... I like my rump tender ...
-
Maybe I already have...........
-
I dont think I could ever bring myself to eat another human,...no matter how desperat I got.
-
see the movie "alive" but for my answer i dunno...
-
If it were a matter of life and death and the person was already dead then possibly. As long as they were not too fatty and had not been left unrefridgerated too long. Can I have ketsup too or would I have to eat them plain?
-
what, again? my freezer is still full from the last one, opps, did I just type and submit that?
-
I'd rather just get the pension in the divorce.
-
Yes!! And do we qualify as red meat?? I got a killer red wine going!! Lunch Anybody???
-
Only if I had seasoning... and a large grill.
-
Oh yeah, would sacrifice my best buddy, no sense both of us starving
-
Many people have have commented that human tastes like chicken when in fact human meat most resembles sweetish pork. In many cultures that practice cannablism human meat is referred to as long pork. I think that a rose wine with long pork would be better than a dry red or perhaps a chardonnay with the long pork. Out of all the recipes I think spit roasted would probably be the best or in a stew, and you could make a soup from the small bones.... Oh and yes I would eat human flesh if I were that desperate.
-
as long as SHE is healthy.
-
't this based of the the movie "Alive". yes I would.
-
The 'atlantic' is an ocean and I imagine I would drown pretty quickly if a plane I was travelling crashed into it, so I believe there would be little reason to resort to cannibalism (death would come long before the possibility of starvation).
-
In the comfort of my padded computer chair that would be an emphatic NO!! But can anyone say for sure what they would do when faced with the prospect or the reality of starvation?
-
"pass the salt" "do you have any "A1" sauce" "BBQ or cajun"? got any fries with that ? Hell yes I would to surrive...and would hope the person next to me would do the same if the situation was reversed..JUST make sure I'm dead first !
-
Who knows what I'd do to stay alive in a situation such as that one. It's easy at home surrounded by food to say NO, but who knows, I think I'm capable of anything.
-
hell yes
-
Nope. I'm a vegetarian.
-
Maybe if I was starving in the desert and it was well cooked first.
-
Ugh, I don't think so... I don't even eat chicken. Maybe if it a matter of survival and I didn't have to kill them...
-
Only if I was in a airplane crash after months with no other meat to eat :(
-
Not unless I was starving in the Andes and the rest of my soccer team had died in the plane crash... or some similar situation. I've always been morbidly curious about it though. I don't want to eat it, but I want someone who has to give me a vivid description of the taste and texture.
-
Not unless it was part of Cannibal's soup line up.
-
I hate to imagine the circumstances that would force me to consider it, but I'm never quick to underestimate lust for life. I wouldn't kill someone for it tho.
-
To facilitate ultimate survival? Probably. Any other reason? No way, José. I'm not into the whole "laughing death" thing.
-
I'd rather die ...
-
Never.........
-
Never. I have thought about it now and prepared myself that I will never do such a thing. It is repulsive to me. If that is all that stands between me and life I have decided then that's the way it will end for me and I am comforted with that thought.
-
As long as it's not a loved one or a family member. Otherwise I'd like a thigh please.
-
Ew, no!
-
Never say never...but the very thought makes me nauseous and as things stand right now..no, I would not even consider it.
-
Hmmnnn... Never !
-
if i had to, yeah i would.
-
to survive i would anyone read survivor type
-
Yes
-
No. What's the point of surviving if all your life you'd always think about it?
-
yes, it does taste like chicken.
-
The ethical way. Hufu. What is it, you ask? Tofu... human flavored. It exists, supposedly.
-
Well, if I was stranded with someone alone on an island, with no food, then I'll have no choice but to eat human flesh.
-
Who knows when put in a survival situation what humans are capable of,however studies have been done on cannibalistic tribes, it turns out eating human flesh (burp) causes a degenerative condition called kuru
-
Not necessarily desperate but hungry, yes. What is considered a good cut?
-
Never. I prefer to die than to eat even a human dead body.
-
Yes I see no problem in that. Meat is meat. The problem in this situation is: will the person or person still be alive and I need to choose one to kill to eat or is the person already dead? If already dead, for example the Andes plane crash where the survivors ate non-suvivors to stay alive, then I see no problem whatsoever. If there is a need to choose a sacrifice then there are a multitude of decisions and choices to make, (would probably make a good film!)(actually I think this dilemma has appeared in some films - lifeboat scenarios?) - ethics, morals, philosophy, law, custom, who makes the decisions, who does the act, who cooks, who cleans....
-
I dont think I could honestly say unless I was in that desperate situation. My gut feeling is, Yes I would. Saying that, I don't think I could eat a family member! But... any one else would, unfortunately be on the menu.
-
Yes, but I wouldn't kill the person so as to eat them. I think anyone would despite what they say when they're not in such a situation.
-
I'll have to assume you mean one of the dead ones around you, since you are the only survivor. No, why would I with so many other choices available?
-
I couldn't imagine doing that, that's disgusting. However, when people are starving to death, they will eat anybody and/or anything just to survive. So I can't say I would or wouldn't because I'm not in that kind of situation.
