Do you eat raw or cooked sushi? (I only buy cooked or vegetarian.)

I do not eat either raw meat or raw seafood/fish of any kind.

Someone sooner or later is going to show their superior expertise by telling you that sushi is the rice. Well, they're right in one respect, but the fish that goes with it (sashimi) is uncooked, except that the octopus, squid, and eel is often steamed. Of course, the joke is that the sushi bar burned down because the chef had the oil too hot. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

I prefer sashimi (raw) over cooked fish.

I use smoked salmon or smoked mackerel - technically that is not cooked, but cured, or smoked - but it tastes pretty good
