Terrible. I mean, I understand the generations as they get older tend to sneer at the "new stuff" parents didn't like Elvis, or the Beatles, or ya know Guns n Roses or something. My parents were confused why me and my brother listened to the Wu Tang Clan. But at least it was creative music. Everything now is just awful. I agree with jls that Disney is ruining music, Reality TV is ruining TV, and MTV kinda got the whole goddamn ball rolling. MTV should be taken off the air. Remember when they used to play music videos, and even in the mid to late 90's I didn't like a lot of popular music but at least they had music on there. Now it's all about teenagers and their "problems" "Oh it's my 16th birthday and I didn't get the private Jet I wanted," Boo fucking hoo. Reality TV needs to go, but I have a feeling it never will. That scares me and makes me want to boycott television altogether.
