    Become a pro on the subject you want to be consulted about. I am an employment consultant and a SSA Consultant. You can either work for a company or contract your self out. I use to contract myself out to insurance companies and they would hire me to collect blood, urine, vitals and EKG's from their customers for testing. Contracting yourself out is having your own business and health insurance and taxes can become worrisome. I like working for a company.
