  • A few Assumptions if we may.... American standards - ie - NEC rules (5% voltage drop) 120 volt circuit so - at .00159 ohms per foot, at about 375 ft of total circuit - out and back, you would have a 5% drop and that would be the limiting factor. So, about 188 feet of two conductor AWG12 out to the load. for 15 Amps - the distance decreases to about 125 ft of two conductor run to the load. (same wire, more current so more voltage drop.)
