Personally me, no; but I knew someone who used a hang glider off a roof. Even with a few beers in him, it wasn't pretty and it took a few hours of him to convince himself to do it. He did break some bones.

No, I jumped out of plenty windows and trees and off plenty of roofs, but never with anything as a parachute.

I bailed out of a tree or two, but never thought to use a blanket. I once leaped off of a box car with an umbrella - shortly after watching Mary Poppins. Like a big dummy, I picked a boxcar that was parked over a built up area, so the landing zone was a big rockpile berm. If you get the opportunity to try it, just skip all the bother and hard work of climing a box car with an umbrella in your hand and have your cousin just go ahead and whack you a few times with a baseball bat and push you down on some rocks... You get the same results. Come to think of it, I remember his words being "I wouldn't do that sh(+ if I were you" just as my feet cleared the edge of the roof.
