Some of those things only activate when you click on download a removal program. Use a trusted Virus remover and think twice before you open any program you download from the internet. I am not sure if symantic ghost is available for Mac but that is the best program ever invented for PC's. It makes a copy of your hardrive once you get everything installed the way you like it. If you ever get a virus or other major problem, simply wipe the hardrive clean and install the old copy. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete the entire task most times. In fact I have most of the people I know hardrives on disks around here and if they ever get in trouble, they just bring over thier CPU. Amazing....

The chance that you actually have a Trojan infection is minimal, as you are using a Mac and Macs don't have as much (relatively speaking) malicious code written for them. The "alerts" you see are more probably "pop-ups" that are found on quite a few sites (notably Porn and Hacking sites) and try to get you to buy useless "anti-trojan" or "anti-virus" software. Some of these pop-ups will actually install viruses and trojans on your machine! The reason they don't work when you click on them is because they're written for Windows users and won't work on a Macintosh (although I wouldn't count on this being the case forever). Get yourself a good Mac Anti-Virus Program and update it regularly. Then safely ignore these irritating pop-ups like the rest of us. Or like Bobby said, "Stop lukin at Porn" (just kidding... but I couldn't resist). Hope this helps.
