Help answer this question below.

How often would aftermarket headers have to be replaced on a 97 4runner 3.4L 4WD? Also, does anyone know how to route the exhaust system after the headers are on?

    If they're stainless steel headers than they'll outlast the vehicle.

    You'll need to customize the exhaust routing if the headers have a different y-pipe flange location or if you plan on doing dual exhaust.

    Never, they will last the life of the engine,as far as routing goes,thats up to your imagination and pipe bending skills, best of luck.

    If you can afford it use S/Steel exhaust pipe.
