Do i have to participate in a job search program if i get food stamps ,i took my CNA course and i have a job lined up as soon as i get certified , what will happen i i do not do the job searches ,the choices program it is called

The same type of program is in my state. If I remember correctly if you don't participate in the program then your food stamps will wind up being terminated after 3 months. It could be different where you are, and so I can't say for sure. You may want to do a little research on it for where you live, and/or talk to somebody at the Food Stamp office about it.

In my state you MUST work at least 20 hrs a week or make so many job searches that they can verify which means putting in applications or you can get a letter from the place that has promised to hire you with a hiring date..but you MUST work or look for work..unless you have a child under 5. If not you don't get food stamps.
