Help answer this question below.

I have four kids 11,9,6,2. Each time I;ve gotten pregnant I was on my period an iI just wanted an explanation.. It seems I cant get pregnant unless I've have sex while i'm on my period?

    The "average" cycle has ovulation somewhere in the middle between periods.

    Your cycle is obviously not "average", as you are ovulating right after your period.

    There's nothing wrong with you - your body just runs on its own schedule.

    You must ovulate really early on in your cycle. If your period lasts for approximately 5-7 days, and you have unprotected sex during this time, you can become pregnant. Sperm can also travel up and wait for the egg for up to 7 days before you actually ovulate. For example if you had sex on day 2 of your period and you ovulate on day 9, then there could be sperm still alive which cause you to become pregnant if that makes sense.
