  • Here's a little bit of information on the subject, for those who are unfamiliar with what happened. http://www.thephoenix.com/article_ektid32990.aspx As for me, I think it's absolutely unacceptable that it took them several hours to figure out that it's a cartoon character. And it's really not reassuring that the Mooninites had been in the city(and in ten other cities who didn't think anything of it) for at least two weeks before Boston noticed it and went into Hero mode. And now they want to make scapegoats of the two artists who distributed the 'devices' because they're embarassed for their stupidity? Give me a break. Boston repeat after me: Eye Am Sofa King We Todd Ed Anyone else? Please, I welcome your opinions.
  • Yeah, the reaction to this does seem a bit overboard. I think they're trying to compensate to cover their embarrassment. I really don't think there was intent to cause a scare. How could no one in Boston know what these things were?
