If I am comfortable enough with someone to share a bed with them, I doubt there is anything I would find "creepy" about their behavior. Edit: And perhaps the person who just gave me a -4 will care to leave a comment as to why?

My ex used to do it all the time and it never failed to creep me out. I suppose it didn't help that I can fall asleep within 60 seconds of my head hitting the pillow, but damn- why don't you try going to sleep instead of staring at me thinking of ways to cut me up so that I fit in a deep freezer!

I'm so used to the dogs staring at me when I wake up that I don't really take any notice of it when The Lad does it. I'm pretty sure he doesn't need to be let outside for a pee.

it depends on how hes doing it. like if I wake up and his face is emotionless and his eyes are wide and hes just staring at me, I'd probably be like "umm... ok sweetie, that's enough now. i'm gonna go sleep... in...the...car........." but if i woke up and he was like smiling a little and his eyes were regular then I'd think it was the sweetest thing ever.

After 41 years of marriage, we probably could not see each other......without our glasses. My wife and do this all the time, just to make sure we both are still breathing. This is not sweet, this is not creepy......... This is a necessity.

I don't find it creepy because I sometimes look at my boyfriend sleeping, (not in a phsyco way, just in a contemplating way) but it would make me a little uncomfortable if I woke up and he was looking at me.

I think it's sweet. I used to date a guy who would get really tongue tied when it came to saying anything romantic, so he would sometimes talk to me while I was sleeping (he thought I was anyway) and say what he couldn't when I was awake. It's not creepy at all.

My husband sleeps in another room because he snores so loud. Recently he confided that he will wake up in the middle of the night and watch me while I'm sleeping. I think this is a little weird!

Sweet. I look at people while they're asleep, shouting at me, staring at me, distracted, happy, sad, etc. -- not just if I like them, but also because I'm an artist and it retains a sort of fascination for me to observe people. It doesn't mean I'm going to hover over a sleeping person and STARE at them and mutter stuff under my breath creepily, though.
