  • In dealing with Customer Service calls, the best concepts are friendliness, confidence in your voice and answers, being honest, repeating back what they said, if placing an order or anything of that nature. The last thing said should aways be "thank you for calling----, do you have any other questions, or is there another way I may help you today?
  • I learned a great trick while working in retail - if you have an unhappy customer, ask them "What can I do to make this right for you?" Most times they will ask for less than you were willing to give, so when you agree, they are happy. :)
  • ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS say "You're welcome" instead of assuming that they know they are welcome. some people get really annoyed if you don't take the time to say it.. which is stupid..but that's been my experience with this.
  • if you have a customer that is complaining about something, agree with them, even if you don't agree with what they are saying.....it helps improve their mood so you can deal with them better
