You must not be aware of how obedient some foreign women are lol. A sailor I know that is married to some Japanese women he met while he was stationed over there is your textbook housewife. She folds his clothes and puts them away, makes him all his meals, gives him shoulder rubs etc. Some women are just raised like that because some feel it's traditional, American women are breaking free of that tradition and getting lives of their own(not that it is wrong).
