I at times consider myself to be of the "hippi" mindset. i rarly use shoes, if i must it only amounts to sandals. do ladies find this unattractive?

Only if your feet are filthy! And your toe-nails gruesome. I would find it a bit peculiar also if it were wintry weather, a bit too eccentric for me.

ok im not trying to be a jerk or anything but just not wearing shoes doesnt make you a hippie. It is one of them, just not enough to say you are a hippie. anyway, i dont think they do. just keep your feet clean.

It depends on the society or your friends circle. If your friends are too stylish and or too casual then you will feel as a hippie among them. Dont worry sandals do look cool if they are weared with good clothing that suits the kind of style. But make sure you wear shoes when you at certain places or occassions which need you to wear shoe, so that you dont feel awkward.

What do your feet look like? I was shoeless when I was 13 in the summer - but when you get a peice of glass in your foot - you will think different. Not sure even hippies go without shoes now - for that matter what makes a hiipy anymore?
