  • Does it matter where the saying comes from? I think those are words of wisdom - because if your just trying to make it work and it does not - the kids when they get older can see that. If it is that miserable - you should get out because otherwise you are teaching them that this is how you deal with it.
  • I think the quote makes sense. HOWEVER - I hold the firm beleif that Dr. Phil is a flaming idiot. In a couple of years his show will be like Jerry Springer. He has no experience with half of the topics of his shows, and he just makes himself look and sound dumb. If they were smart, they would take his show right off the air.
  • I think the saying makes since. my mom and dad were constantly fighting as i grew up. We were miserable. you couldn't sleep at night for them arguing and screaming. They finally seperated after i was done moved out. It did not come soon enough. It's not east trying to get up and srat focused at school, when these things are going on at home.
  • i think dr phil is a douche. he gets paid millions to state the obvious. why dont i have my own show??
  • Meh, it sound like something The Sphinx from Mystery Men would say. It states the obvious without providing any real substance. Then again, I'm not particularly fond of Dr. Phil. All of his answers seem so kitchy and formulaic. So my own personal bias might be getting the best of me.
