we wash them on delicate in a nylon bag.

I would wash them in a lingerie bag (A pillowcase also works), in a front loader only. Top loaders tend to be harsher, even on handwash cycles.

I always just bung mine in with the normal washing. As long as there's nothing with hook clasps in there, they're usually fine.
