    The closest we have are wiggers but not all wiggers are the criminal element like chavs are. Wiggers are just white kids who adopt the stereotypical black affect. I am careful to say "stereotypical black" because most blacks do not act that way. Wiggers go for the bling, the hip hop thing, listen to rap, wear the saggy jeans, etc. I would have said that our gangstas are more like your chavs but your chavs are pansies next to serious gangstas like the Bloods and the Crips. From what I have seen of your chavs they emulate American ganstas.

    I don't know about the US... but in Australia we have bogans. Apparently their mannerisms are somewhat similar to those of the chav. Although, I haven't been to the UK to meet chavs... so I don't know for sure...
