  • If I were president anywhere except for the countries closest to Iraq, absolutely not. The U.S. presence in Iraq is illegal under international law. I'd need a REALLY good reason before sending my people to die to clean up the criminal mess the U.S. has made there. However, if I were from a nearby nation, I'd put troops in to protect my own nation from an overflow of violence -- but I would wait for the United Nations to ask me. I wouldn't want to cooperate with the U.S.'s illegal conduct there, and I REALLY wouldn't want to look like a servant of the United States to my own people.
  • No. It was wrong to begin with. I'm rather happy that my Government had the foresight not to get involved in that country for a bogus reason. They got something right for a change.
