If you were President/Prime Minister etc of a Nation and the U.S asked for your support regarding Iraq would you give them support? eg troops

If I were president anywhere except for the countries closest to Iraq, absolutely not. The U.S. presence in Iraq is illegal under international law. I'd need a REALLY good reason before sending my people to die to clean up the criminal mess the U.S. has made there. However, if I were from a nearby nation, I'd put troops in to protect my own nation from an overflow of violence -- but I would wait for the United Nations to ask me. I wouldn't want to cooperate with the U.S.'s illegal conduct there, and I REALLY wouldn't want to look like a servant of the United States to my own people.

No. It was wrong to begin with. I'm rather happy that my Government had the foresight not to get involved in that country for a bogus reason. They got something right for a change.
