What would you do if come to find out, the person you are closest to on AB, but dont know in person turned out to be someone they are not?

I would move on with my life. I like everyone on here, but if someone has a secret identity, I probably wont lose sleep over it.

The question is worded very awkwardly. But if I found out someone here was in real life different from what they had told me, I would be not terribly surprised, and if I really liked them here, I would probably continue to like them. If I understood your question, that is my response.

Does it really matter if some people are not who they pretend to be. It seems like a waste of time to me to pretend to be what you are not, but if they have been setting and answering questions like everyone else does who they really are matter ? I would be concerned if they were pretending to be a very young member and making too close friendships with other young people. Other than that unless you have struck up a personal friendship it does not really seem to matter

I have a diferent attitude when Im at work than I do at home and another when Im posting, I dont expect anyone to be anything but present. all illusions are just personal in cause and effect.
