  • Some. I lived in one for six years, and there are definately different kinds of people that are drawn to them. My mom and I lived there because it was cheap. Others lived there, and didn't give a crap where any of their stuff was, even if it were in the neighbor's yard. (And I mean crap.)
  • Are you talking about "recreational vehicle" parks or "moble home" parks?
  • Why does their home have wheels and their car doesn't?
  • rich people can be trashy poor can be trashy middle class can be trashy its not where you live, its how you were raised and how you act.
  • No. Many are not too well off financially and this is an economical place to live. Sometimes they are people (snow birds) from the North who go South for the winter and return to their own regular homes in the summer. Trashy is just a misnomer for poor people no matter where they live. People with money can be just as "trashy".
  • No, there are quite a few beautiful mobile homes parks that are well kept→ http://www.gamasl.co.uk/mobile-homes/vm_canada-mobile-home-2.jpg Then on the other hand, you might want to rethink your definitoin of "Trashy"→ http://www.raincityguide.com/wp-content/photos/mobile_home.jpg
  • You know you're trailer trash when... The Halloween pumpkin on your front porch has more teeth than your spouse. You let your twelve-year-old daughter smoke at the table in front of her kids. You've been married three times and still have the same in-laws. You think a woman who is "out of your league" bowls on a different night. Jack Daniel's makes your list of "Most Admired People." You think Genitalia is an Italian airline. You wonder how gas stations keep their restrooms so clean. Someone in your family died right after saying "Hey, y'all watch this!" Your Junior/Senior prom had a daycare. You lit a match in the bathroom and your house exploded right off its wheels. The bluebook value of your truck goes up and down, depending on how much gas it has in it. Ya' can't git married to yer sweetheart 'cause there's a dang law against it. You think loading the dishwasher means getting your wife drunk. Your toilet paper has page numbers on it.
  • I would be careful, If the economy continues to tank, we may ALL be living in trailer parks. Where you live has absolutely nothing to do with your class. Typically, people who are obsessed with Class, don't have any. Just an observation from an old man.
  • I live in a trailer park, and I don't consider myself "trashy". I am a middle-class, professional woman, who has a good job, owns my trailer (paid for), owns a late-model car (paid for), and has a little money in the bank. I do rent a lot in a nice, clean, park, near my work. I chose a trailer park because I don't have neighbors so close I can hear them breathing next door, as in an apartment or condo. My feeling is that "trashy" has very little to do with where one lives, and much to do with one's lifestyle. Call me trashy if you want -- I know the truth!
  • Oh I do hope so.
  • Not where I live in South Texas.
