Perfectly fine. My mom was in the hospital and there was a guy nurse. He was great. I had a surgery after my elbow fracture, and a night guy nurse saved me. It's not about a nurse gender. It's all about your attitude, caring personality and experience.

In general, they're no better or worse than female nurses. That being said, one particular male nurse saved my butt on several occasions while I was in training. Thanks, Ed!
