  • In my view, GOD, almighty, is a power, is beyond our imagination, beyond the reach of gender, creed , cast, community or region, or religion.
  • God is beyond Gender and your right hand thing doesnt make sense.
  • Gender only exists in the physical world.
  • I think God is genderless but, the bible does state that God created Man in his own image. So, that leads me to believe that God must have masculine traits.
  • God, if It exists, is a genderless entity. Calling God "He" says more about the prejudices of humanity than the nature of the Divine.
  • God is male and likes thirteen year old girls. How else do you think Mary got knocked up? It's in the book.
  • I'm not as versed in other books, but in the Bible he/she shows masculine traits at times and feminine traits at time, making me think that a mixture of both would be a "useful" description at any rate, even if God is beyond gender.
  • as humans we were created of either the male or female gender so that we could procreate within our own kind/species. different from God's angelic creatures that he himself actively participated in their creation, he decided that humans would multiply themselves. thus he instituted the concept of the family. the fact that he is considered a "he" and we read about his male /female like attributes does not mean he is of any gender. what the bible is trying to convey is that when we were created we were endowed with many of his attributes and qualities. this is why the bible says in genesis 1:26 that we were to be created in his "image" and in his "likeness." thus the reason for our capacity to love, our capacity to feel a sense of justice, etc. we also have been bestowed with the gift of conscience, unlike the rest of his earthly creations that do not enjoy such attributes.
  • I can't believe God has a gender. We male humans have used the idea of a male god as propaganda in subjugating women. Disgusting. Our majesty at the Center hallowed be your name may your rule come your will be done on earth as it is at the center give us today our daily bread forgive us our sins as we forgive those how have sinned against us save us at the time of trial and deliver us from evil
  • Since when is the right hand a male body part? Unless you have a penis growing out of your right hand, they're pretty genderless.
  • ? So I guess god is a man and I am not a man or woman because I am left handed....? This question makes absolutely no sense but that's ok because I don;t think god exists and I would think if god did exist he would be a she if even human like or physical at all.
  • Catholics believe that God transcends the human distinction between the sexes. It is traditional and scriptural to address God as He or Him. However, if you wish, it would not be wrong to address God as She or Her. Remember immediately after describing God as the Good Shepherd, Jesus describes God as a woman looking for her lost coin (Luke 15:8-10). For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 239: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt1sect2chpt1art1p2.shtml With love in Christ.

  • Duality, Yin Yang, Male Female all exist after life begins. All on the physical plane, the earthly plane. Before life begins, there is this pure energy plane , the source of existence, beyond duality, beyond gender this what we call God. Pure undifferentiated energy.
  • I have a God and a Goddess. So the God is the masculine aspect (the Divine Masculine) and the Goddess is the feminine (the Divine Feminine).
  • well, God did make man first and he mixed man with a woman , the ribs...so, I'd say HE is more male oriented ...but HE gave both the same abilities to think as HE does just not the highest ABILITY HE HAS...but we share HIS emotional image more than a physical , in my view...
