Yes, you can heat it up, no problem. Coffee shops even steam it in place of regular milk for espresso drinks. It works fine.

Sure, you can use it just like regular milk. Soy comes plain and in flavors like vanilla if you're looking for a little flavor. You'll find soy milk is much healthier than regular whole milk.

Now let's all be correct here... "Soy Beverage" Definitely! It is safe to use in all sorts of cooking where you would normally add milk! And with the added bonus of different flavors you could have vanilla soy beverage on your oatmeal and so on!

Soy "milks" are great heated - just be careful not to heat as hot as dairy milk. Soy proteins "cook" at a lower temp. When I steam soy milk for espresso, I never take it past 120 or 130 degrees F. I use Vanilla soy - I think Plain is an acquired taste! But there are some other great flavors including Chai, Latte, and Chocolate milk. Lots of fun to experiment with!
