Yes, some animal ones (hummingbird, dolphin, crow) and some human ones. I have one lady who has stroked my hair and put me to sleep since early childhood. She comes when my mind is too full or when I am anxious or scared.

No, definitely not. I consider myself responsible for my own spiritual development and guidance, and I would consider it a major abdication to hand that over to any other entity.
