Are all companies are cutting on salary/wages raises and other benefits for the employees, based on the economy?

In England, some have but their working hours to prevent job losses, other companies have made lots of people redundant. The job agencies have no jobs.

I don't know about all but our company has a wage freeze, no more 40 hours weeks everybody works 36, they kept the insurance coverage but raise the rates, it really hurts!!

Pretty much, we are fighting for our civil service rights here and they are still threatening to cut 2,000 even though our state got a bailout

no. my company is over staffed. over pays people. and just got cheaper benefits and started a 401 k in the last 3 months.

the company i work for has made redundencies and we are not getting a raise this year. my fiance has lost his job last Dec and been trying extremely hard to get another 1 with no joy. we are struggleing badly!!
