Can I go with option C: the monorail at Disney World?
Depends what you mean by better. Better built is the subway as there is less chance of disrupting existing traffic systems (unless you decide to use the cut-and-cover system),it's faster and easier to maintain. The elevated system would work out cheaper to construct, but would have to have strengthened supports to deal with potential vehicle strikes and attack. If you're just travelling, the elevated system would give you something to look at rather than dark tunnels.
Why don't many Americans like trains but prefer the airlines' lousy fares, rediculous waits, rude personnel etc. Do they hate Amtrak?
