  • I don't think you'd have much of a case, since the feds didn't put the coke on the currency. The money was out of their control, after all. Their attorneys would probably turn the tables and attempt to pin the entire misadventure on you. If you do manage to accumulate a sizable quantity of coke, you should call me immediately. I'll be glad to have a first-hand look at your evidence and advise you accordingly <grin>
  • Instead of water I would use a ethanol :)
  • It won't work. From what I hear, these are nanogram quantities. You'd have to harvest the residues from millions of notes (bills as you call them), then separate out the cocaine from all the other contaminants... If you were prepared to do all that work, and had access to millions of dollars, I dare say there would be easier ways to get hold of a "toot of charlie". Sorry.
  • You would not win for this reason: you could never prove the united states government actually placed the cocaine on the paper currency, since its offered for all debts, legal and private to the public. Good try, though.
  • Try it! And in 3 years post the results. I bet everyone that rated this question higher is wanting to know
  • Good thinking wendora, now once a week i sit under a tree outside with al foil wrapped over my head like and umbrella liking 50dolabills ya'll. No ones onto it yet but keep me posted.
  • This a rather far fetched idea. First of all, the government did not give you that cocaine, the cocaine particles in question are "contaminated" after they leave the mint. I think you'd be likely to find yourself at the defense table, as you intentionally distilled currency with the intent to produce a usable amount of fairy dust. That's a felonious act of drug manufacturing. Sorry to be a spoil sport. Furthermore, it is not likely that you'd get a "good size" quantity of coke. In fact, were you to get a usable quantity of cocaine from residue on bills, it would likely show your determination to obtain cocaine as it would not exactly have fallen into your lap as the "contamination" is pretty miniscule & it would take real (criminal) effort on your part to obtain a usable yeild. Keep in mind there are other things like dirt, sweat, ink, who knows, on bills- I don't think you'd get anything resembling pure, white, glistening cocaine.
  • *sigh* why is that so many people think they can make some easy money by sueing someone with lots of money? Shouldn't you sue them if you feel something is wrong, instead of searching for a reason to sue them?
