I believe they're trying to show that a dieter can eat normal food. You don't have to eat prepackaged bars or drinks to lose weight. Those prepackaged diet bars and shakes are what might be termed fake food.

I think their idea of "real" food intends to be the opposite of the kind of "rabbit" or other food people might consider as part of a diet. For example, stuff like alfalfa sprouts, carrots, raw broccoli, rice crackers, these might be considered rabbit or fake food, whereas something more hearty like beef stew or pizza would be "real". Of course I'm sure the portions of such that they offer are tiny but the food itself is "real".

All those diet foods are fake. Sure yu lose weight as long as yu eat them, but as soon as you eat real food again you put on the weight and more weight because youhave starved you body of so much that it needed. Stay eating that food and stay slim and unhealthy, stop eating it and the body keeps that stuff it has been missing and you get fat. Want to be slim, eat what you want but not so much of it and exercise and walk. No hare program. Heck watch TV and just do exercises as you do. Movement burns the fat away.
