The originals are always the best. I can't think of one movie that had a remake which was better than the original.

originals, unless they are remade very, very well and carefully. Like the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair was the joint, man! But the remake of, say, The Manchurian Candidate sucked on ice.

The originals usually but I taught Rob Zombie did a good job remaking Halloween.

Absolutely not. The remakes never are as good as the originals. Who ever markets the remakes are hoping to cut a fat hog in the ass by riding the coattails of the original.

I think it all depends on the movie. Rob Zombie's Halloween is so much better than the original. Some originals are better, when others are just really bad and people want to sound "cool" for liking the originals more even if they sucked..

omen... psycho... evil dead(2)... thy al were NO-WHR near the orijinalz... thou ther are the-thing... n dawn of the dead remakez wich r gud enuf... jus dependz on hw old the muvie waz i gues... specialy whn it comez to efectz in the muvie... yea... direktion n action n screenplay ...(blah...blah...blah!!!)... also count... but the oldr the muvie the betr chances of it being betr... though duznt hold gud for manyyy remakez... peace!!!
