No, it doesn't become two worms. One half dies and the other half keeps living.

If you cut a worm in half, you have a dead worm cut in half. Worms have 5 hearts located close to the head. If they are cut in half blood cannot get to rest of the body.

It really depends of what type of worm, the planaria which is a flatworm can grow into 2 worms if cut in half. Here is a link to the planaria http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planarians If it were an earthworm for instance, then the answer would be from what I have read, "no". Hope this helped.
