    Not my action, but that of a friend. He downloaded a very good virus protection program to our computer. When Microsoft updated their software automatically in July 2008 the virus program blocked it and froze my system. It took 3 hours of conversation with people in India and two hours with people in the Philippines to finally figure out what the problem was. We deleted that virus protection program and everything has been hunky dorry since. :)
