  • i have one brother that is 2 years younger than me. we get on sometimes but most of the time we dont. hes an idiot anyway lol he is the total oppsite to me in every possible way
  • I have one older sister. As kids we fought constantly. I think it was due to her always managing to get me in trouble by convincing me to do things in her place and then telling on my at the first chance. As adults however we're pretty ok with each other. We still snap at each other on occassion but we also look after each other. Probably I look after her more since I'm now her big little brother instead of her little little brother :-) She's my opposite in a lot of ways now though whereas when we were children we were a lot more alike. Of course she was always quiet while I was louder.
  • My older brother was a real pain when we were young, and completely the opposite of me. I tend to the dark - brown hair, dark complexion, brown eyes - while he was the fair-haired, blue-eyed boy. Always artistic and literate he was the apple of my parents' eyes while I had to try so hard to just be noticed, taking refuge in my maths and science. My parents still can't see past him, but things have changed between us. As I grew older I realised that he always kept an eye out for me at school, and tried to fight my corner in the house - pointing out my little successes. He chose me to be his best man at his wedding and when we were having a quiet drink he confided how jealous he was of my abilities and how I seem to always land on my feet. He is a fantastic uncle to my children and the best brother I could ever hope for. He may look different to me, but under the skin we appear to be each other's hero - he has his doctorate and I have my charter and we both have wonderful families. Oh, and he still fights my corner with my parents. Get along? I couldn't be without him. Opposite? not where it really matters.
  • My only brother and i are eight years apart. while we were both kids, we hung out went to many places, together. as he reached the age of dating, i was left out in the cold. i was just in his way, when the girls took over. As a child, i resented the girls taking away my relationship with my brother. Today, i can understand why this happened. being eight years difference in our age, was the culprit. in the early years, we had many things in common. as the years progressed, our things in common, just drifted away. Don't get me wrong, i still love my brother and only sibling. we do not communicate much. he only lives 12 miles away, but it might as well be 12,000 miles. Do you believe the eight years age difference is the problem?
  • i have one older sister...i get along with her now but we used to kill eachother before. i used to beat her ass up so she got tired and gave up. now we cool. we are very different. I like to say whats on my mind and i dont care if anyone likes it or not, she keeps things to her self because she doesnt want to hurt people's feelings. she's also more old fashioned than i am. i like to work and she doesnt.
  • I have one sister, and we do get on very well. There are times when she annoys me, she is much more highly strung than me (she's younger) and I do have to bite my tongue on occasion, but I love her so much, she is brave and beautiful and I am very very proud of her and the things she has accomplished in her life.
  • I have an older sister that abandoned me about 18 years ago. She did show up to watch our father die of cancer, then just as expected, left again and hasnt spoken to me at all. I dont get it. I never did anything to her to be treated this way. Total abandonment...I guess whe lives in a commune and is all guru'ed out I dont know
