Can someone tell me their satisfaction/dissatisfaction with apparel sizing,what are the different levels of satisfaction between males and females?

As a female, I am highly dissatisfied with the sizing of clothes I find in stores. I don't know if they do it differently in other countries, but women's clothing sizes here in the US are completely arbitrary. I get so annoyed every time I go to a store and find I'm two sizes different in that store from any other store. I would love to see every clothing manufacturer go to a sizing that is based on an actual system of measurement. Like say, inches or cm. I would assume that males would be more highly satisfied in sizing of clothing although S, M, L, XL, XXL, etc. are also rather arbitrary.
