  • Tell the person if I knew who did it....Cause keying a car is just downright wrong
  • Call the cops.
  • Possibly snap a picture with my camera phone and report it to the police so they can be hauled in for destruction of property.
  • Get a description and call the cops. It's a crime after all.
  • I'd tell them, hey, that's not cool, try to take a picture if I could (write down descriptions if I couldn't) and call the police.
  • I'd like to say I'd go all bad cop lady and shout "halt your evil doings villanous citizen" but in all honesty, I'd probably end up just throwing them a dirty look, but not on purpose. More like I'd look at them, and whatever I think about someone shows up on my face because it's very expressive, and i would obviousley not approve of some jerk keying a car so I'd ultimatley glare at him and maybe if I'm having a good brave day be like "nice job jacka** how bout you let me key *your* car" and hope I don't get mugged
  • It depends on what kind of car it was, and how it was parked. Large 4WDs in urban areas deserve anything they get. Hummers in any area deserve anything they get. Very badly parked cars (straddling several parking spaces) deserve anything they get. Other than that, I'd take action.
  • Report them.
  • Tackle them and call the cops; it's a heinous thing to do to someone. Although, if I saw someone key a Hummer or a large SUV I'd probably grab a sharp object and join in the paint chippin' fun.
  • call the cops...take a picture with your phone or something but do not let them know you saw them...keep your identity secret. let the cops deal with it.
  • that's a really interesting question because recently I witnessed someone actually make a U-turn and hit a car, and the person stopped briefly to check and see if there was any damage. I was stopped at the light just behind him. In my case I took down the plate number, and left the information on the car that was hit after coming back from running my errand. My thought is that just because there was no huge dent doesn't mean that there is no damage!
  • Wait for you to park your, no doubt gigantic, fat-arse. fuel-wasting mom-mobile across two or more spaces and gleefully join several people in keying the crap out of it as soon as you waddled off into Starbucks. Maybe carve the words "global warming" into your Ford Exploder or Lincoln Navigator or Hummer. Bwa-ha-ha-ha!!!!!
  • I would contact the owner or the police and explain what I had witnessed.
  • I would make a citizens arrest!
  • honestly, probably nothing but laugh. if it was a kid, i would assume that he's being a jerk and just vandalizing a random car. in that case, i would probably call security or the cops. BUT, if it's an adult, i'll assume that it's being done out of revenge, which means that something was done to the person vandalizing the car, thus, justifying the vandalism. it's funny the way my mind works.
  • get out my phone and take a picture. leave a note for the driver that i have an photo id of the culprit and to give me a call.
  • If I had a camera phone, I would take a picture, then leave a note for that person, telling them I know who the bastard is that did it lol.
