i couldnt agree any more. thank youu liberal media.

No, that is not right. But it is on the right track. The more it gets televised and publicesed the more weak minds get influenced and create more violence. Violence feeds of the publicity. What's the old saying, "Life imitates art?"
-
Televised? No, Marilyn Manson is crazy...There are so many people that have stopped watching tv, and just watch movies, people have become a lot more interested in life...From what I have analyzed.
-
Oh that's not fair... you got me to agree with Marilyn Manson.. Now I feel all dirty....
-
Yes I think he is right. Violence is nothing new. History is riddled with instances of it...I hate when people make a big deal out of video games and movies. If you go back far enough people used to watch other people fight to the death in coliseums and there were public lynchings, both of which were considered entertainment...
-
Yes. People really haven't changed much in thousands of years. Frankly, with the dramatic increase of education, sanitation, and public welfare programs I think times have become significantly less violent in the last century. Fewer reasons to commit crimes, higher likelihood of being caught.
-
I think that's right. Have you ever taken a peek see into the not so distant past? Barbarians is what we were, and still are, but now at least were're educated barbarians. A little more tolerant than in the "off with his head" days. Me's thinks. ;+
-
Exactly
-
I agree. Could anyone say that we are more violent today than the Roman gladiators were?
-
yup. ani difranco: "art may imitate life but life imitates t.v." it becomes more televised, becoming more exposed, people become more conditioned to it so in fiction they look for a bigger badder thrill, so then the media exposes more for shock effect... marilyn manson...brilliant man...but still scares the crap out of me
-
I agree with him on that.
-
That is so true.
