How big where the puppets, the sets, the cars and various Thunderbird vehicles used in the Thunderbirds?

    The people were made at 1/3 scale about 56cm or 22in.
    I assume the ships were made to a smaller scale.
    There is No Way that they 9 inches.
    How could a puppeteer possibly control a marionette that is so tiny?

    The human puppets were probably about 9 inches tall. The big sets would have covered a large table top - say 20 feet square. The craft models - a couple of feet. You can get an idea of the size of the human models if you observe that some the bits used to make machinery, pipes and so on are actually toothpaste tube capes, drinking straws and so on.
