Help answer this question below.
It is hard to place an alternator in the wrong ways mechanically in many vehicles and the connector is usually shaped asymmetrically, so it only bolts up and plugs in one way.
However it IS possible to screw ANYTHING up; snapped wires, improper belt tension, nicked something, etcetera.
Are the wires hooked up right?

Well, I just took the alternator off my 1994 Honda Accord to have it tested. It tested good. But what a hard task it was to take it off and put it back. Now it squeels like crazy. So I think there is a right way to put it on. I cannot figure out why it squeels. Is it too tight or too loose? Any suggestions?
