Sounds like typical conservative B.S. Declaring that taxes will go through the roof is at best a weak-minded scare tactic aimed at keeping the status quo in the hands of the megalithic insurance conglomerates. Yes, it could be true, taxes will probably go up, but personal expenditures like out of pocket costs usually associated with health insurance companies, not to mention the frequent problems and denial of services that inevitably occur whenever the insurance companies are the only ones calling the shots, will evaporate to next to nothing and 'everyone' will have access to basic medical care and emergency services when the need arises regardless of social status or income.
