How do you know that Obama isn't in fact an atheist and possibly a closet gay. One cannot truly believe everything he says, he's a politician after all.

The number of philanderers there have been in the oval office, and the complete lack of bother from 3 presidents about poor J Edgar Hoover, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if you'd already quietly had both. Neither condition affects a man's ability to do the job, after all.

I'd guess an atheist based on percentages. That group is the fastest growing in the US and a larger percentage of the overall population.

Atheist, gay people are a much smaller percentage of the population. Maybe the first gay president will be an atheist.
