Yes I do... Much more so than taking pills perscribed to you by a general practitioner or a quick stop pill pushing psychiatrist that doesn't take the time to understand you, or your problems.

Honestly speaking I don't know. I did have marriage problems in the past but I never tried to seek help. May be I ought to. But things worked out by themselves. We have an adopted daughter from oversees. It was very very hard at the begininning, an she was abusing our dog. I was about to see a counselor. But after disciplining her she got better. In both cases in my family things worked out and got much better by themselves.

Not everyone, and not just any counselor. - I know of counselors that do more harm than good. And they are much too common. - And I have known people a COUNSELOR could benefit from seeing.

Yes!!! There are things that you may not feel comfortable talking about with friends and family or that you really want to acknowledge.

seeing a counselor is only a part of it, one has to talk and discuss and sound off and shout. maybe after ten weekly sessions, one might benefit.
